     I own a 2006 Dodge (Mercedes) Sprinter 3500.
I took it to a shop that has a MaxiSys 906TS and they can't get it connect to read the rear wheel speed sensors.  The ABS light has been on ever since they replaced them.

Any idea why they can't get the tool to communicate?   Is this a function the 906TS should have?

Do we select Dodge, or Benz?

My guess would be some brake hardware  came off and munched up the rear axle tone wheel in the parking brake or brake drum. Were you considering buying a MS906TS for yourself before you brought it to a friend's shop and wa not able to get tool to communicate?

It is not a friend's shop, but an actual repair shop I've paid to replace the axle assembly.  I understand there could be a problem with the tone wheel or sensor wiring.  The Autel would be helpful to tell us which side to tear into.  The shop can't get it to communicate.  I'm looking for ideas why and confirmation it should be able to rear the individual rear sensors. Thanks

Did the new axles come with tone wheels or need to have the ones transferred from the old axles before installation?

I appreciate the offer of help, but my question is about the 906TS ability to read individual wheel speed sensor data.

haven't worked on one in awhile , but my old DS708 could on a Benz Sprinter. I was able to communicate with a Chrysler Crossfire , ID ing it as a Mercedes Benz CLK320, so who knows, maybe you'll have better luck trying it manually entered as a Benz Sprinter, but try at your own risk.
